WE ARE GREENWAY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
We were formed by two Presbyterian churches in Lenoir combining to make a more powerful and meaningful place to worship our God.
Fairview was formed in 1930 and United was formed in 1965.
We joined in 2023 to serve God and our community.
GREENWAY; A walk with God.
Greenway was established in 2023. Since its opening, this church has reached out to many people in many ways. Through Gods guidance, Greenway will continue its outreach and worship to serve His purpose.
Our mission is to provide meaningful worship, feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, comfort the grieving, reach out in love to our community and walk humbly with God.

Great Joy
Luke 2:10-11 But the angel said to them,
Do not be afraid; for see4I am bringing you
good news of great joy for all the people:
to you is born this day in the city of David
a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.=
What a year it has been! So much has happened.
We have worshiped gathering as one, we have
fellowshipped together in fun ways, we have lost
loved ones and friends, we have reached out in
our missions, we have studied and learned and
grown in spirit.
Advent begins with anticipation, anticipation of
the birth of our Savior. As Fairview and United,
we also have hope and expectation for the New
Year as we become Greenway. It has taken a
great deal of praying, discerning, planning, and it
has come together.
The ministry of both churches continues in a new
way as Greenway Presbyterian: Stronger
together, reaching out in new directions, trying
new things in worship and fellowship, and acting
with faith.
Let us celebrate this Advent season, enjoying
each moment as we approach the manger, the
birth of our Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.
blessings, Pastor Leah
